Md. Ariful Islam

Mr. Ariful Islam is an Associate at the Firm. He practices in the field of Litigation & Alternative Dispute Resolution area, Labour & Employment, Judicial Review and other Criminal and Civil matters. He is an Advocate of the Supreme Court of Bangladesh. He represents the Firm in all Civil & Criminal cases which are pending before the Supreme Court of Bangladesh, the District & Sessions Judge Court, Administration Tribunal and Labour Court. Prior to joining the A.S & Associates team, Mr. Arif has worked for other renowned law firms namely ‘Muklesur Rahman Badal & Associates’ and ‘Shomaji & Associates’. 

From the beginning of his professional life, he is mainly focusing on the Litigations & Alternative Dispute Resolution area. On behalf of the Firm, he has taken all necessary steps in all Civil & Criminal cases with consulting the lead counsels of the firm. He has also assisted the lead counsels to prepare the draft relating to all Civil & Criminal cases of the Lower Court, Tribunals, High Court Division & Appellate Division. Apart from this area he has also wide knowledge in the field of the Commercial Contract, Alternative Dispute Resolution, Banking and Financial Institution, Employment and Labour Issues, Taxation, Immovable Properties, Real Estate 

He has routinely assisted the lead counsels to advise & provide the legal service to the Soorty Textiles Limited, Premier Leasing & Finance Limited, Bangladesh House Building Finance Corporation (BHBFC), Bangladesh Election Commission (BEC), Cutting Edge Industries Limited, MBM Group, SHA Global (BD) Limited, NRB Commercial Bank Limited, Saif Powertec Limited, RFL Plastics Limited, NCC Bank Limited, Khaas Food, Zingametall, Durable Plastics Limited, Brothers Construction Company Limited, KEB Hana Bank Limited, Valvoline Cummins Private Limited, Danstar Ferment AG etc. on various legal issues in respect to commercial transactions, bank guarantee, theft, extortion, defamation, immovable properties and other related legal disputes.
