Personal Biography
Ms. Afrin Sadia Nusrat has been working as a Research Associate at A.S. & Associates since 2020. At A.S., Ms. Nusrat deals with various matters including- Labor and Employment, Corporate Secretarial, Mortgage Securities, Mergers and Acquisitions, Telecom, Renewable Energy, Intellectual Property, Corporate Governance, Corporate Financing, and Taxation.
Ever since joining A.S., she has assisted in some noteworthy projects. Some of them are listed here- she has assisted her senior counsels with the tax-compliant structuring and incorporation of a 100% foreign-owned subsidiary carrying out tobacco-related trading activities in Bangladesh of Khaitan & Co., one of India’s largest. She was entrusted to lead the coordination of client communication and obtaining all operational licenses of two international HR Outsourcing entities spreading their operation in Bangladesh, Omnipresent and Globalization Partner. Furthermore, she prepared Term Loan Facility Agreements, Letters of Hypothecations, Irrevocable General Power of Attorneys, Demand Promissory Notes, Letters of Continuation, Personal Guarantee, Corporate Guarantee VOTT, Sponsor Support and Subordination Agreement for NRBC Bank, one of the leading private banks of Bangladesh.
